1. Jojo getting his stitches out, and being nearly 100% back to normal. It’s amazing the significant difference just a week can make.
2. Reading an excellent children’s cookbook. It was visual without being condescending, and challenged kids to do real kitchen tasks (things like cutting, whisking, beating/blending, grating… and of course, lots of measuring). Great stuff!
3. Encountering a funny comic strip:
Reality often makes the funniest jokes.
