Day 457

1. Learning that my dad will get to retire in a few months!  This day has long been coming; I’m so excited and happy for him that it finally gets to become a reality!

2. While archiving old emails, I re-discovered this gem from a former colleague-now-friend: “There are only 3 colors, 10 digits and 7 notes; its what we do with them that’s important.”  May I always remember the amazing potential that resides in ‘simple’ things.

3. Having a stranger find one of my blog posts, and select it as her “monthly favorite”.  Wow!  I know my friends and family are ‘expected’ to like what I write (or at least humor me and say that they do – *wink*), but to have someone who doesn’t know anything about me read one of my posts and find it meaningful enough to share – wow.  Very special.
