1. Returning to work after being away from the office for over two weeks. The break was good – but getting back into a structured routine also felt nice.
2. Returning home to find Jojo nearly back to his old self! My sweetie was able to get our pup through the day with no opioids, and with the strong drugs out of his system, he was more alert and spry. Yay!!
3. Returning to physical activity. My butt had occupied a space on the sofa (usually with a puppy next to each cheek) from 6 am – 9 pm for the past four days (with breaks only to use the restroom or make meals – literally). The only other time I have been this inactive was during my recovery from surgery back in 2006. It felt SO good to move my body!
