Day 496

1. Seeing three C-level executives speak to a large internal audience completely unscripted and “off-the-cuff”.  SO refreshing – and really, really cool.  No matter what a person does for a living or how much power/money/influence they possess, everyone is simply human.  (And it’s particularly nice when people who do have lots of power/money/influence also recognize this “basic human” fact.)  🙂

2. Seeing a man pushing a large, heavy cart down a hallway and approach a group of women in the middle of the path.  The women were talking, and were oblivious to the man – as well as to the fact that they were literally blocking his way.  As the man drew nearer to the ladies, he called out, “Bowling for dollars!”  The women realized that the man was calling out to them, and they quickly moved to a side – then laughed at the man’s good-natured humor.  A fun and light-hearted way to ask people to move.  🙂

3. Learning about the app “My Talking Pet.”  Oh my goodness, this is going to provide hours of humor!  I am seriously laughing out loud right now.  If you have children (or if you have the sense of humor of a child [ahem, moi]), download this app – it is SO worth it.  🙂
