Day 397

1. Spending the entire day with extended family (some of whom I haven’t seen in literally 16 years).  It could have been very awkward, but it wasn’t at all.  The power of blood connections is really remarkable.  I’m grateful I had the opportunity, and will cherish it for a long, long time.

2. Getting to help my uncle set up his first blog!  So cool.  Welcome to the blogosphere R!  🙂

3. Seeing two duck babies swimming side by side, learning to be independent while still depending on each other.

(Interestingly, a few minutes later I saw a mama and a daddy duck accompanying eight new babies across a shopping mall parking lot.  Every being has to learn independence – but each of us also needs to know when it’s wise to depend on others, too.)

The human family bonding was terrific, and the duck family was so sweet. 🙂 Thank you for reading and commenting – I appreciate your kind words and thoughtful support!
