1. Learning about an amazing act of forgiveness.
2. Catching up with people from various points in my past – and learning that they are doing very well.
3. I work in a security-controlled environment where all employees must scan a badge in order to get access to the building. Today as I was entering work, I found myself next to a woman wearing tall black leather boots, a semi-short black skirt, and a fitted red blouse. As I pulled my badge from my waistband, the nearby woman bent over and removed her badge from the inside of her boot. She scanned it, then after passing through the security area, slipped the badge back into the top of the boot. The scene felt very “La Femme Nakita” to me – and I almost laughed out loud at the idea.
