1. Responding kindly to a colleague who mistook me for someone else and shared information with me that wasn’t really meant for my eyes. She was visibly relieved when I assured her that she had nothing to worry about; that she hadn’t caused me any harm, and that I wouldn’t forward the information to anyone else. It was (is) such a gift to treat people with genuine grace.
2. Frosting cookies with my sweetie. I didn’t necessarily want to do this task tonight (but I do want to bring the finished cookies in to a team meeting tomorrow, so it was now or never…), and it was a lot more fun completing this project with the man I love. 🙂
3. Receiving a surprise gift in the mail from my dad! And having it be something he knows I will genuinely enjoy:
