1. Getting to participate in the process of choosing the people who will hold power in the country which I live, and getting to state my opinion on the laws which will govern us. And getting to do this privately and confidentially, free of intimidation or threats. What an amazing ‘right’ (freedom) to be able to enjoy.
2. Spending the afternoon in the company of smart and hard-working peers. I repeatedly feel gratitude, awe, and genuine joy for getting to work with truly some of the ‘best of the best’ in the business world. It’s an honest-to-goodness blessing.
