1. Being a source of strength and comfort to a vulnerable being (in this instance, one of our puppies). I can only imagine what a parent feels…
2. Seeing my sweetie in a passing elevator at work, and getting to exchange a warm smile and a silly face before the doors closed.
3. Catching up with a friend that I haven’t talked to for several weeks. We’ve never met face-to-face, yet our phone calls frequently last 30-45 minutes. She’s a cool connection that I value, and I thoroughly enjoy our time together.

Last week had to take our Mirza to the vet. She was staggering and had to be coaxed downstairs one step at a time. My heart was so filled with worry for her. She had infection in both ears. That afternoon she and I lay snuggled together on the bed for a couple of hours, giving and receiving comfort.

Aw, poor honey. I hope she’s feeling better! That must have been quite a double-infection… 😦

She is much better, back to playing and being her goofy self.

I’m really glad to hear that! What a feeling of relief it is to see our fur-kids getting better…

I like that you have a friend you have never seen. Intriguing! Delightful.

It’s pretty cool the connections a gal can make when she’s open to new experiences, and willing to meet with new people in a variety of forms and formats. 🙂
