Day 137

1. Seeing a restaurant employee use the hood of his car as a picnic table. (I.e., he was sitting cross-legged on it, with his lunch spread out all around him.)  Clever.  And a little crazy.  🙂

2. Maintaining self-confidence and emotional balance even as another human judged me.

3. Watching construction gear move pieces of concrete like a child moves Cheerios (i.e., pinch, lift, move, release, drop – one at a time.)  Mesmerizing.

P.S. Every time I see a big construction excavator, I now think of my childhood toy, and this terrific post by one of my fellow bloggers.  Both make me smile.  🙂
