Day 21

1. Remaining genuinely calm and confident when a homeless man tried to intimidate me.

2. New baby leaves that are sprouting and growing on trees.

3. Seeing a cool biker on the road.

My first graders being so good ( and quiet) all day, upon request, because the fifth graders were taking state tests. ( I’m blessed with a great class.)
Also, blessed with a son that is concerned about my sad face. So sweet.
Roasted almonds and a glass of red wine.
    Tough day…

Your biker dude is bright and cheery.

Aw… all of the kids in your life sound like sweeties.

Sorry to hear you had a rough one yesterday. Hopefully the biker gave you some good cheer, too. (He certainly did me!) 🙂

    1. Having a student who hates reading tell me he is loving Angela’s Ashes.
    2. A complete stranger left me a totally awesome comment on Day 115.
    3. Having a glass of wine and looking at what others are writing.

It’s so fun to get awesome comments – especially from new people! Thank you for continuing the chain of good fortune, and offering comments on this space. 🙂 I appreciate it!

It’s a joy for me to see ‘baby’ anything: tiny flower buds, little leaves just starting on trees, itty bitty pine cones just beginning to turn brown… Tiny = cute = fun. 🙂
