1. Learning a new (American) football rule. I held a totally different understanding of “forward progress” until I had a two-minute conversation with my husband this afternoon. To think that I had been operating under false premises all these years!
2. Receiving a very kind blog award from a fellow writer. He said incredibly flattering things about my Smile, Kiddo blog; I appreciate his incredibly generous words.
3. Seeing a tongue-in-cheek sign in an ‘alternative ‘ coffee shop. Fun.
